| Interail Operated a Push/Pull Coal Train from The Duralie Mine To The Stratford coal Washery. Usual motive power was drawn from Interail's 421/422/423 classes with two locos at one end and a single loco at the other end. As The Duralie Mine Loader is just a siding and the Stratford Washery is on a Balloon loop the train was led by by two locos for a round trip and the single loco for the next round trip. This service has now been taken over by Queensland National using the ex Interail locos. Photographs of this operation will now be shown in the collection QR National Coal Trains in NSW |
